Trained as a Systems Architect, Joseph is a highly experienced Software Engineering and Product Development specialist. Specialized in early-staged startups, Joseph enjoys creating new and disruptive products. He has a background in establishing Health and Wellness brands, and is excited to introduce MACROS to the world.
Joseph is an active and life-long sports enthusiast. He particularly enjoys playing hockey, lifting weights, mountain biking, and swimming. In addition to working out he has an interest in optimization and problem solving. This is how MACROS was born.
“Conceptually, MACROS is a simple idea. We provide a really simple solution to a well-known problem. Busy with daily life, it can be challenging to meat our own dietary goals. As an active and lifelong sports enthusiast, I struggle with maintaining a proper diet with a busy life schedule. What if we could offer a way to hit our macro nutritional goals in an easy and convenient way?”
He brings pragmatic problem solving to the Food & Beverage market and has created MACROS as cost effective and nutritious meal solution for your essential macro nutritional needs.

I built my career improving food security. Much of this effort has been in East Africa, working closely with organizations like the World Food Program and USAID. I studied the classics at St. John’s, my MBA at Copenhagen Business School and completed the Stanford GSB Seed Program in Africa. Building businesses that provide healthy food access is my passion, and I’ve done so with NINAYO, Maua Mazuri and now Macros.
